“Success is that old ABC – ability, breaks and courage.” – Charles Luckman

Have you used your ABC’s to design your ideal business and life? For whatever it is you do, these three will play a part an integral in your success.

It all starts with A – ability. You will want an ability to do whatever your chosen business is. This could be the ability and skills to do the business itself or could be the ability to choose, direct and manage a team with the skills to drive the business. When you are looking to create a true business, have the end goal be latter.

Any entrepreneur will want to catch some Breaks along the way. The more you put it out there to others, the more opportunities you will create which will translate into more breaks you catch. This is one reason why I always advise to scream your business or goal from the rooftops to all who will listen. Letting everyone you know in on what you are doing will open doors you may have been unaware are even there.

The final piece of your ABC’s is extremely important to your success. It’s the Courage you want to have to make the tough decisions and put it all on the line. This means taking risks when others would stop. This step is one of the biggest reasons many entrepreneurs fail to succeed. They get stuck on having the courage to make the hard choice and take on the risk necessary to be successful. Practice making fast decisions on challenging action steps. By doing this, you can train your courage muscle to get stronger.

Making fast decisions and having the courage to follow through creates more breaks for you and your expert team to solve creating the success you desire. Remember to just follow your ABC’s. The success you seek is found by knowing and acting on them consistently.
